About the Author
Alison Pooler is a senior lecturer in the School of Medicine at Keele University. She developed the non-medical prescribing programmes within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Keele before moving over to work within medicine. She also undertook the role of a Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) reviewer programmes for a number of years and has completed consultancy work across the UK for other higher education institutes (HEIs) around curriculum and standards.
