About the Author
Richard G. Barr is a Professor of Radiology at Northeast Ohio Medical University. He practices at Southwoods Imaging in Youngstown, Ohio. He received his BS in Chemistry at Ohio State University, a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at Michigan State University, and his MD from Case Western Reserve University.
Giovanna Ferraioli is the coordinator of the Ultrasound School at Fondazione IRCCS San Matteo Hospital Foundation, Medical School University of Pavia, Italy, and co-director of the EFSUMB Ultrasound Learning Centre at the same Institution. Her research interests include elastography in diffuse liver diseases, non-invasive assessment of liver steatosis, ultrasound contrast agents, and Doppler in portal hypertension.
