Clinical Functional MRI: Presurgical Functional Neuroimaging (Medical Radiology)
Description of Clinical Functional MRI: Presurgical Functional Neuroimaging
The third, revised edition of this successful book describes up-to-date preoperative fMRI and complementary advanced imaging methods (DTI, MEG, PET, etc.) to diagnose and treat patients with brain tumors and epilepsy. It presents the state of the art fMRI and complementary imaging procedures and discusses practical aspects, imaging and data processing steps, normal and pathological findings, and diagnostic possibilities and limitations. Experts in the field explain relevant information on brain physiology, functional neuroanatomy, and imaging techniques.
All chapters of the second edition have been fully updated to reflect the latest developments. Multimodality functional neuroimaging was rewritten by new authors. Further chapters address brain plasticity, and pitfalls, tips, and tricks.
